Take Action
Are you looking for a way to engage with us? We have several non-direct service (non-contact with clients) opportunities that will help move our mission forward. Of course, you could run a marathon or two to raise support, plus we have many other ideas how you can support our mission. A few are below, but we are open and welcome your ideas as well. Please email Candace at info@r199.org to let her know about how you'd like to focus your action steps or follow the links below.

Write a Note of Encouragement
Are you looking for a simple but meaningful way as a service project for your small or community group? Many of our clients did not receive words of affirmation when they were growing up. They treasure short heart-felt notes that let them know that they are loved and valued. Click here to download a copy of our Guidelines for Card-Making Days Edited. Open that downloaded file and review or print, as you prefer.

2nd Saturday Serve Day
The second Saturday of each month, a group of people get together to volunteer for Restoration 1:99. During those days the volunteers have put together the Dream Box (shown above), written cards to returning citizens, and other people contemplating self-harm, or one of several other projects that they have worked on. Anyone is free to join. To apply and/or learn more about what they do click here.

The group usually meets from 10:00 AM to Noon, but weekly circumstances may change the group location or time spot.
