Nature Therapy:
For Joy, Wisdom & Wonder
That breathtaking view of mountains, a dense forest, or a garden isn’t just soothing—it can actively rewire your brain’s circuits.

Brain research and experiential, somatic, and creative approaches now inform us that traumatic experiences "locate" somewhere in the body, not the head.

But what does that mean?

Your five senses and physical sensations are the doorway into your body. Emotions, intuitions, and instincts are energetically involved in trauma recovery.

Life is energy; it changes through intent, effort, and focus. Your body's thoughts, beliefs, feelings, memories, and imagination are all energy. But they are all in your head. Bringing the felt emotional memories into the skin, bones, and organs takes an intentional pulling inward and downward.

Healing does not mean curing; feeling/intuition is healing—an ongoing process.

When you are into your body, you will analyze a feeling from your head, tell a story, and repeat a memory of something that happened.

The energetics of trauma are non-verbal, irrational, and primal. That means that talking about a trauma are less successful than experiences. That is why we provide Nature Therapy walks, Art sessions and other means of sharing one's feelings without talking. Once someone explains their drawing, they are opening themselves up to talking about their trauma.
