R1:99 is recognized as a leader in developing cutting-edge programs for front-line workers who suffer from compassion fatigue and burnout. Several charities and organizations have asked us to partner with them and provide resilience-building programs for their essential staff members so they can go the distance.
We can only continue our work with your help. Your individual donations combined with grants ensure our essential work will continue.
Located in Woodland Terrace (in Wards 7 & 8, one of the most violent neighborhoods in DC). Gun violence, prostitution, human trafficking, incarceration, and grief and loss are the norm. R1:99 started working with ETC in 2020 to provide resiliency training to their leaders and mental health services to their staff and residents.
"R1:99 has provided outstanding services for our agency. I have witnessed the exceptional contributions they have made to our community. Not only are they hard-working, but they are dedicated to enriching the lives of those who work around them.
"R1:99 is committed to bringing mental health awareness and compassion to the residents and staff they serve. We have received testimonies from our clients who once were unemployed, that they are working now because of R1:99's help. Clients have reported how they are hopeful and healing now because of their services. Our organization has grown because of their support."

Many older veterans suffer from PTSD and multiple losses, both personally and professionally, and have not worked through them. R1:99 is coming alongside to provide clinical and non-clinical services to Knollwood residents. Knowing that those who work on the frontlines suffer from compassion fatigue and burnout, we offer resilience-building programs for the Knollwood staff.
Your generous gifts ensure veterans and staff will be cared for.
