Mother's Day Fundraiser

Mother’s Day is usually a time of joy and celebration, but unfortunately, it can be a time of great pain and sorrow for some mothers who have lost a child, especially if it was their only son or daughter.

Each year we select a local ministry that focuses on women who have lost a child. This can be through a miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, or some other reason. This year we will provide free Eden gift bags to four women at the Miscarriage & Infant Loss Support Group at National Community Church.

 

To Write

Each gift bag will be filled with words of encouragement from YOU and wonderful Eden products made by our complex trauma survivors. If you are interested in participating, your cards need to arrive no later than Friday, April 29th. Send your card(s) to Restoration 1:99, Inc., PO Box 15674, Washington, DC 20003. Please write as if you were writing to a family member or loved one.

Additional thoughts on your words of encouragement: 

1. Scripture to a minimum as not everyone is a believer or finds Scripture helpful during this time.

2. Do not seal envelopes as we need to read all of the notes to make sure they are appropriate.

3. Sign the note with your first name only and perhaps the church you attend.

4. Please do not include any personal information such as your full name, address, email, phone, etc.

If you would like to contribute towards a gift bag, they are $25 each, but you need not donate a full basket. You have two choices.
