Vernicia T. Green, MA
Lay Counselor
Vernicia holds a Master of Arts Degree in Human Services – Counseling from Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia, as well as a certificate in traumatology from the Green Cross School of Traumatology. She has used her skills to provide crisis response leadership training and counseling in South Africa, Haiti (deployed after the 2010 earthquake), and Nicaragua. Her empathetic approach has made significant impacts on those experiencing trauma, grief, and compassion fatigue, guiding many towards healing. Vernicia's firsthand personal experience with grief enriches her counseling practice.
Additionally, Vernicia traveled to Ghana, as one of the speakers at a women's conference, delivering a message to a village of natives, and participating in a school session for children, some of whom had experienced trauma.
