Survivor Network
Because We are Better Together

Sexual Trauma Survivor Network

Upcoming Survivor Network Schedule
Many survivors of sexual trauma desire a way to connect with others who have a similar story on a more social level but lack a safe environment to do so. Therapy is important but does not offer the deeper levels of connecting socially that are often needed.

In order to facilitate this interest, R1:99 has launched a network for adult female survivors of sexual trauma. There are a number of networks already formed, but they all seem to be online. Our women have indicated that they want to integrate their Christian faith and physically gather to bless, encourage, and help each other thrive.

This network is free and social in nature; therefore, it is therapeutic but not therapy. It is peer led and to ensure the safety of all participants, an R1:99 clinician/trauma trained staff will be present at all gatherings. One does not have to be receiving services from R1:99 to participate.
