Soaring Above the Ashes

Soaring Above the Ashes: Thriving Beyond Childhood Sexual Abuse

REGISTER
Picture
We will be reading Soaring Above the Ashes, Thriving beyond childhood sexual abuse by Emily Samuelson, Ph.D. Soaring is
a collection of stories from survivors who care deeply about children and never want any of them to go through
what they have been through—telling the truth to encourage more survivors to come forward and speak out so
that no one can deny that child sexual abuse happens. In all communities. A lot. The power of survivors’ voices
might help children and the adults they become get the help that they need. This is a closed group.

Dr. Samuelson is a psychologist in private practice in Baltimore, MD who focuses on trauma.
