Stephanie Thomas | Board Chair
Stephanie is an educator with over 20 years’ experience working with non-profits and the District of Columbia Government. She currently is with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Additionally, Stephanie serves as the Director of Embassy Life at Dominion International Ministries, Inc. located in Upper Marlboro, MD under the leadership of Pastor William and Dr. Yolanda Powell.
Stephanie has a deep love for abused women and girls who have been subjugated by human trafficking. As the newest member to the Restoration 1:99 family Stephanie brings high commitment to the R1:99 board and a vast understanding about growing organizations and grassroots efforts.
Stephanie was awarded the McDonald's Black History Maker of Today Award and Phi Beta Sigma's Outstanding Volunteer award in recognition of her dedication and zeal for people who are often overlooked and marginalized.
Stephanie graduated from Howard University in Washington, DC with a BA in communications and received her Masters' of Education with a focus in Risk and Prevention from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Stephanie is a native of Chicago and currently resides in Maryland.
Darryl Arrington, Ph.D., LCPC, NCC | Board Treasurer, CEO & Director, Chesapeake Behavioral Health Systems, LLC
Darryl was raised in the Washington, DC area. After a nearly 20-year background in government IT contracting, he enrolled in seminary to pursue a degree in counseling. This began an exciting journey to live out a life of Jesus’ choosing. Darryl has PhD in marriage and family therapy, and maintains a research and practical interest in serving trafficking survivors in the years after their exit from the Life. Darryl is married and raising 3 teenagers, and he maintains a robust private practice in Maryland.
Virginia Antos | Vice President of Leadership Development, Aglow International
Virginia serves the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area as Vice President of Leadership Development for the Mid-Atlantic Region of Aglow International. Aglow is an apostolic ministry, active in over 170 nations, with a membership of over 17 million. Aglow has answered the call to abolish human trafficking with a threefold approach including prayer, education and partnering with local anti-human trafficking organizations. Virginia brings her strengths in prayer and intercession to the Restoration One Ninety-Nine’s board, as well as a large network of passionate individuals who are highly motivated to pray and support this cause. Virginia and her husband Dave live in Nokesville with their two sons, Doug and Brian.
Marjorie J. Brown, Th.D | Inspirational Speaker & Coach ~ Author ~ Pastor ~ Consultant ~ Coach ~ Educator ~ Author ~ HIV AIDS Educator Counselor ~ Human Trafficking Speaker/Trainer
Dr. Marjorie J. Brown is an International Speaker, Emcee, Pastor, Radio Host, Training Consultant, and Author. As the Founder/CEO of MPACT21 Global Nexus LLC, an executive level administrative consulting and coaching business where she provides leading-edge, strategic consultation, professional development and outreach support to individuals, ministries and businesses on how to best leverage their resources and assets.
Dr. Brown has worked in the U.S. Congress, as a Director of Community Outreach for a residential drug treatment facility, as a HIV AIDS educator/counselor, human trafficking speaker/trainer and is a nationally certified Adult, Youth and Veteran’s Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She is the author of several books; received numerous recognitions and awards and sits on several boards. She holds a Doctoral and Masters of Theology degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry.

Mitch Wheeler | Chief Partnership Officer, Premier Sports Management
Mitch is a marketing and sponsorship executive with more than 30 years of experience. He’s worked on many of the world’s major sports events, both on the property side and the corporate partner side.
He has served as Vice President for Business Development and Corporate Consulting the past five years at Premier Sports, generating significant growth in the areas of corporate sponsorship strategy, management, negotiation and activation. He has held senior management positions with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals, serving as each team’s chief marketing officer for a combined 15 years. Mitch has vast experience in the sports agency business, including as founding partner at MAI Sports. He has serviced clients such as the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, The Rolling Stones, United States Olympic Committee, the Richard Petty Race Team, Coke, Sprint, AMC and Liberty Mutual.
Mitch is also very active in numerous community and philanthropic endeavors. In addition to his work with Restoration 1:99, Mitch is on the Board of Directors for Save A Warrior and the Foundation Board for the University of Central Missouri.
